The first Nowruz during the pandemic brought a wave of emotions that inspired me to create this project. When I saw my little niece's photo standing next to the traditional Haft Sin, I yearned to hug her tightly and wish her a Happy Eid. The tension and uncertainty of the times added to my desire to connect with loved ones in a physical way. 

By sending these virtual hugs, people could still connect and share the joy of Nowruz, even amidst the challenges of the pandemic.

 I added Haft Sin as small elements to my illustrations to create a Nowruz touch.
